Truth and Reconciliation Day and Orange Shirt Day (September 30th) is a day when we honour the Indigenous children who were sent away to residential schools in Canada. It’s also a day to learn more about the history of those schools. Students are encouraged to wear orange this Friday to recognize this important time in Canadian history.
