Reading – We will be starting our first reading comprehension unit on visualizing.
Writing – We will be focusing on proper sentence structure. Sentences must start with a capital letter and end with the proper ending punctuation (.,?,!). Conjunctions can be used to add more detail to sentences (and, but, because).
Math – We have started our unit on representing numbers (e.g., place value, rounding to the nearest 10, 100, 1000, comparing numbers, etc.).
Science – The grade threes will be exploring “Soils in the Environment” and the grade 4s will be exploring “Rocks, Minerals, and Geological Processes“.
